when i’m out taking photos, i’ll see something in the street that feels right, but it’s missing something. so i wait. i wait for someone to step into frame, or for something to complete the image. and when i do take the photo, i’ll take it again until it feels like the image it’s supposed to be.

somewhere in that process, the thing that made me want to take the photo in the first place starts to disappear. it becomes less about what i noticed, and more about what the image needs to become.

i used to think this was a broader critique. that something was pulling photography away from itself. but i started to notice i was being pulled with it.

so this project, 7sii, is a way for me to step back in. to challenge what i think a photo should be. the photos in this gallery aren’t always complete. they’re softer, less resolved, sometimes easy to miss.

7sii is a project that embraces imperfection. it shifts the focus back to raw, overlooked moments — the kind that don’t beg to be captured, but linger when they are.
